Sarmaya Studios is a production house developing feature films and shorts that bridge the local to the global. Driven by an international, cross-cultural perspective, the studio supports cinema deeply rooted in authentic lived experiences and infused with warmth, humor, and joy.
Beyond original production, the studio operates a film consultancy branch offering expertise in funding applications, project packaging, and the curation and production of industry programmes.

Industry Events Curation
Amit works as an industry producer and creative consultant. She has produced three editions of Future Forward for the UK Asian Film Festival, as well as two UK-India focused film markets alongside partners like the BFI and Film London. As a consultant, Amit works directly with filmmakers on funding applications, film positioning, and making sense of international co-productions. She is available for hire for industry programme curation, market event production, and project consultancy.
